I could hear the words he sang.

What has happened to you,
To cause your gently heart such pain,
It must be broken,
Burning to the point you wish death,
Has your soul grown weary,
Let the pain you carry all these years,
be carried away by the currents
If given the choice would you forget the past?
In the ocean so blue,
You can start anew,
No more pain, your heart can be mended
We can love again, my dear

I felt something cold touch my lips and soon felt their arms wrap around me, as they pulled me against the currents. "Who are you?", were my last words as all the colors bleed to black.

Victoria Brior is your everyday, average teenager. She has friends, a family, and a job she loves. But an unexpected accident has her whole life turned inside out. She has met and made a contact with a mythical creature of the sea... the mysterious sirens. However, sirens aren't beautiful women who seduce and lead people to an untimely death. They are actually both boys and girls, who have had their hearts broken, and were placed under a curse. Centuries have passed, with there being only one way to break the curse... by transferring it onto another broken person, with a kiss, causing them to become a siren. Victoria was victim to it after falling into the ocean and nearly drowning... but something went wrong. After making a contract with a beautiful male siren, she is now a half siren, and him a half human. Together with her siren friend, newly named Ren, she must find out the truth about this ancient curse... and herself.
