Lily Colwells has had anything but a nice and normal childhood. She's been beaten by her own parents since she was 7 and now at the age of 18 she can't take it anymore. Her parents are always drugged up and drunk, her mother does nothing while her father being a big and strong man overpowers and beats her almost to death sometimes. She comes to school with brusies but she tries to hide them so her friends don't worry about her. She doesn't tell anyone because she thinks its almost embarrassing that someone's parents would actually do this to their child, also she would have no where to go. And she's afraid they would come after her if they found out she told someone. She had a boyfriend, Nick, but he turns out to be a douchbag and gets super jelous. Anyways a new boy comes to town, Cole Andrews is his name and he immediately likes her and she feels herself liking him.
