Peter Folland thought he could grasp something out of his reach. His pride is what got him kicked out of his department, and with a little more than just a scratch for what he did.
Now, two years later, Monsters from the demon realm are crawling out from their depths and attacking, and they seem to be after him. Others may not be able to see them, but he can, and he thinks he knows what they are after.
Peter is pretty well known in his department for being kicked out, but now they've made first contact with him since, but the person they sent, Julia Crain, doesn't seem to know the real reason he was kicked out, and he realizes there is probably a good reason for that.
Now he and Julia are trying to find a way to stop these demons from climbing up to earth, Julia trying to figure out why they're coming, and Peter trying to hide the reason and solve his own problem.
Peter never was a normal human after all...
