Years after your father had been deployed for the Ishvalan War of Extermination, a grave illness overturned your life. With little other option in reach, you took your fate into your own hands and turned to medical alchemy as the cure. You eventually succeeded -- but perhaps not as completely as you thought. You're soon hurriedly relocated to live in the far reaches of Fort Briggs. There, you continue to study and hone your skills to repay those who've helped you regain your footing. But despite your efforts to ground yourself in Briggs, one thought continues to plague you: A red stone, seeping into your hazed memories on the night of your transmutation. After much convincing, General Armstrong grants you permission to pursue its secrets. Along your travels you encounter a strange pair of brothers who claim to search for the same stone, and while finding solace in their company is unexpected, it's welcome. With them at your side, the truths you uncover won't whittle down your resolve. ╔═════════•●•═════════╗ Edward Elric x Reader Disclaimer: I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist or its characters! By Your Side (Edward Elric x Reader)
Hey guys! This is my first ever x reader so if it is bad I am so sorry. This story line will not be like the story line of the anime so yeah. I am trying my best to make it good so please tell me if you like it. Thank you! ❤ After years of training and practicing alchemy you finally gather the courage to become a State Alchemist. In the process you meet the one and only Edward Elric, also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist, and his brother Alphonse Elric. Once you see them you immediately start to fall for one of them, Edward Elric. You find out that they are both trying to find the one thing that you were searching for, the Philosophers Stone. You need it to heal your ill and bedridden father. You agree to help Edward and Alphonse find it. As you guys travel together you all begin to grow close. Especially you and Edward.Complete
