Can You Hear Me?

Elizabeth Zo is a child prodigy, hormonal teenager, and conflicted girl. Being a Burmese-American, she struggles with the discord of messages from her current society and her family. She takes to the internet to find a potential rent-a-friend to vent her problems towards.

Finn Holland was dared to talk to the first girl that popped up. He didn't need anything in his life; a computer, his phone, and a few books here and there were enough to keep a guy like him content. After a few mishaps, he is forced to talk to the mysterious girl on the screen.

As asking for mental advice turns into friendship, Finn and Elizabeth both realize they've built up feelings for each other. One problem: they reside in complete opposite ends of the country. As both of their individual stories become intricate, it seems that they both are being forcefully pulled apart. There's only one more question to ask.
