Lillias Summers is popular much to her dismay. She’s insanely pretty and has more than a handful of friends so you’d imagine her being happy right? Wrong. She’s had a piece of her missing ever since her twin brother died in a shooting a week into their summer break. Trying to get over her brother’s death, she spent the rest of her summer going out to parties and doing anything that her brother wouldn’t have approved of before. Now that the summer break ended, she has to go back to school without her brother for the first time and face everyone.

Grayson Scar was handsome, popular, and the smartest guy at his old school. This changed when his dad died in a car accident over the summer.  Needing a change of scenery, his mom decided to move to a completely different state to get away from the place they were so use to calling home. For the last two months, he was cooped up in his room isolated from everyone. Now that the summer break ended, he has to start his new life at a new school.

Lillias getting ordered to escort a new student around school for the day led to the two meeting. As if spending the whole day together wasn’t enough, after thinking there was someone following her home, she found out they are also neighbors!
