The Royal Duo

After the death of Hinata's parents and the betrayal of Kageyama's father, the oddball pair have difficulty opening themselves to the world around them. Only having one another to rely on, Karasuno has a hard time interacting and befriending the two. With a past that still haunts them, will they be able to trust their new team? Or will they be left behind in the world of Volleyball?

First fanfic I've ever done, judge the way you want to. Keep in mind I'm still in school and am not the greatest in English. I found this idea on a fanfic I was reading and wanted to try it out myself. A link will be put at the bottom of the prologue because I don't know how copyright works ;-; There will be usage of swearing, drugs, child abuse, neglect, trauma, hints at selfharm, and overall angst. There are other Haikyuu characters that will have a bad past in this story which include Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Tanaka, and Nishinoya. The story follows the lore of the Haikyuu story, but with my own twist. All rights and characters are reserved to the creators and owners of Haikyuu.
