When the dragon flu had come, it washed over the world killing most of the people of Terra. In an attempt to save their people, the government took them deep into the underground to a city constructed for emergencies. After being ripped from his bed in the early morning by the city watch one morning, Grant found himself labeled as a trader and thrown down into the mines with mutants and criminals. (Year 2029) Its pointless finding another job, people are dying and turning into brainless, killer alien-zombie-things day-by-day. He keeps his dog Niko by his side daily. Him and Niko try to roam the world to try and survive until SOMEONE, or at least ANYONE finds an antidote. If time starts running out, Nate promised himself he'd start looking for a scientist. Or he's try himself. If not, What's the point on living on a human-less earth? There's barely any animals left either, and most of them have gone rabid anyways. Its surprising Niko hasn't.
