(Book 1)Chris is just a normal guy in high school but unfortunately he's deaf and he doesn't understand sign language. This makes his life harder. However what Chris doesn't know is his life is about to change. Chris can only hear his own voice but no one else's so they have to write down what they want to say to him. But when a new student called Amy comes Chris is about to have his whole life changed. Amy is your average high school student with good grades, great friends and she has a great heart . However one day while she's talking to her friends Chris walks by but some how he can hear her voice. Chris and Amy start to hang out together and Chris's parents are finally happy that Chris is happy again. However how will Chris cope when Amy's father has to move and he wants to take her with him all the way to the other side of the world. Will their love be able to save both of them or will it fail when they need it the most?
