Those who now live with mental and/or physical enhancements  are looked down upon for their artificial differences. The government was split apart along with the people.  

Augmented Alison Parker is the Augments only hope. Made by the original ,now vile, Science company, Matevandes, Alison grows enough courage to take revenge upon them for killing off their own creations.  Even though she is hellbent on revenge,Inoselene is the only thing keeping her and many other lab creations  alive. The drug has become illegal and scarce, making the journey  a limited one.


Armed with Augmentations and diligence, Alison Parker is told to swap 14 year old Eliza Campbell for the safety of her people, reluctantly she agrees only to regret  it when she finally meets herAll Rights Reserved

Deeply in love with Quentin, his husband of eight years, Ian's home life more than makes up for the work that wears him down. But a car crash that could have killed Quentin reveals a shocking truth: his husband has been replaced by a BioSynth. With the impostor on the loose, Ian must now Track it, knowing he needs to comb its memories for any clue regarding Quentin's whereabouts - if he's even alive. ≡≡≡ SynTracker was written for the Open Novella Contest 2021 and is based on prompt #4: You're a weapon, and weapons don't weep. In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?
