Jo, a troubled teen moves half way across the country to run away from her troubles. Her old home town was a living nightmare, everyday felt like it was dragging her down. Many sessions of youth group therapy, isolating herself, medications, and trying to forget, never helped her get rid of her real problem, which can never really leave her. Jo has the attitude not to care about anything, and think negatively about anything that can cause happiness. With divorced parents, a mother who thinks she's in love again, and a boy she meets at the beach, what more trouble can happen to her life?
