Friday Norman― she’s that deadbeat on Baker Street who lives with her bushy-haired, hippie of an uncle; is rumoured to be a pansexual; her hobbies consist of stamp-collecting, reading, and re-reading the Nancy Drew series; and she hangs out with those self-proclaimed weirdoes everyone ignores.

And surprisingly, she is perfectly content with her tedious, everyday lifestyle, and plans to continue doing what she always does during the summer: being predictable.

Her plans are ruined, however, when her uncle shows up with his old beat-up Volkswagen, with the spontaneous freaks she dubs as ‘friends’ in tow.

Now, Friday’s living on Dorito’s, alternative rock, and classic Disney movies as she and her friends go on a cross-country road trip, with the prospect of finding love, as well.

Five friends, one summer― what could possibly go wrong?
