Lucas Hunter is a the bad boy who rules Baker Hill High School and everyone that walks the halls. Ariel Montgomery is the shy girl who disappeared for two years right after the end of eighth grade. When these two meet in the hallway the first day of junior year, Lucas hits on her and, as any normal, sane person would do, Ariel slaps him. From that point on, Ariel does everything she can to avoid the bad boy hunting her down. But, she then finds herself in a situation where she can't avoid Lucas anymore. What is going to happen when the shy girl with the big attitude and the bad boy with a closed heart have to spend much more time with each other than either of them wanted. Secrets will be revealed, feelings will develop, and people will change; maybe not in the way they were supposed to. Authors Note: The re-written version is now UP on my profile!!! Sabrina was an average Florida girl just trying to survive her senior year. Being best friends with the bad boy, Lucas- who happens to be her crush since middle school- she had no idea what was coming. When she confesses her feelings for her best friend, it leads to jealousy, violence, mistakes, tears and...love. Will confessing her feelings for Lucas tear them apart? Does the bad boy have a soft side? People aren't what they seem. You can put on an act but still be a completely different person when you're alone. Lucas wasn't a completely different person than people thought he was, he just needed someone to push him in the right direction. Could that someone be Sabrina? "Because of you....I know what real love is." Warning: this book contains mild violence, cursing, grief and some sexual content
