When her friend is sent to Earth on a routine mission and doesn't return, Emerald must leave the Gem Homeworld in search of her. Emerald has been selected to be the mediator between two ancient enemies and must ensure the peaceful return of her comrades without starting another devastating war in the process.
(This is a fanfiction based on the characters and ideas of the show Steven Universe, which belongs to Rebecca Sugar and Cartoon Network. Emerald, Citrine, and Azurite are my own characters, and the idea behind this story is my own. Note: I wrote this a long time ago and most of the information in it has been presented much differently in the show's canon. I also have little memory of what I wrote in here so I hope you still enjoy it.)

𝗔 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆... 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁? Welcome to my fanfiction of Steven Universe: The Movie. The movie was released in 2019, and I wrote this story in 2022. Since then, I've been revising it, as my previous version had a lot of flaws - so please enjoy! 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥! Steven Universe and all its characters belong to Rebecca Sugar and its respective owners - I claim no ownership over any of it. This is a reader-insert story set during the events of Steven Universe: The Movie. The core plot follows the film, but I've added a reader-insert character and original scenes throughout to weave her into the story as it happens. Please don't repost or copy this work elsewhere. Another Name (SU fanfic)
A pearl too small to fit in, an alien betrayed by his own people, a peridot punished for being too kind, and a separated couple. These apparently unconnected characters will end being linked up by the consequences of an event that will ultimately trigger the unveiling of Homeworld's most well hidden secrets. This story is a Steven Universe fan fiction that wants to create an alternative point of view on the original show without changing the canon events. For that, I use big amounts of speculation to fill the gaps the show left when it ended. The action is presented in short chapters and is told almost entirely told from my original characters perspective, the one of gems, and some other alien races, curious about their existance, their origins, and their possibilities beyond serving their superiors. I assume you've seen the cartoon before reading this fanfiction. Beware of the spoilers if you haven't seen all Steven Universe, the Movie, and Future.
