Jeremy Ferguson is a nerd always getting bullied in school. He was used to it after all these years have past and he made himself beleive that it will always be like this in his life until one day, a pretty girl came. A VERY pretty girl that is. To Jeremy's eyes, it was an Angel that the Lord sent down from Heaven. Jeremy hoped that to the Angel's eyes, he wasn't invisible and his wish came true. They became the best of friends for years and Jeremy just kept his feelings from her. One day, he had to leave mysteriously leaving the girl. He never wanted to leave but he had to in order to fulfill his dream. He promised the girl that he would come back.....someday and he did eventually. What happens when he comes back as someone else?

I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
