Post War Au

Hermione and Ron never really had the perfect relationship,  and they clearly never would. Her and Ron constantly bickering. Ron not liking Crookshanks, and threatening to kick him or her out everytime he was angry or drunk was not healthy. She knew that and one night was the last straw.  After the supposed death of their best friend (no body to be found) Ron has never been the same,  making a rift between the two.  Hermione applies for the Muggle Studies position and gets accepted.  Now able to find a place to live and leave Ron for good. Everything is going well until feelings develop for a past professor that was presumably dead.
