The Man in the Square

A decorated war hero over 10 years ago. Now he is stuck living like many other vets around him... Homeless, without a job and sleeping on the streets. But he lives his life with a little twist, when he was no more than eight years old his father told him a tale. A tale about helping others dreams come true.

This story is based on a writing prompt I found. It was supposed to be a short one-shot type thing but I ended up writing more than planed.

There is some swearing in this, and some of the stories are quite sad. More like all of them are.
