Belladonna

The Pacific Northwest seceded from the union right after the Third World War. Since then, the area has become a female-dominated, self-sustained nation. Every five years, this new country holds a "hunt"-- a mysterious, yearlong event no other country in the world has anything remotely similar to.

For the first time in two hundred years, the country of Belladonna is allowing a reporter to document the Hunt. And what she finds is far from what she expected.
