I don't believe I've encountered those terms before, are you by chance from the previous lifeline? Well... will you read this little notebook? I must warn you though, there is no turning back. An earlier version made the ONC 2025 Long List. This is the longer, revised version for the Wattys. Scott an insecure idealistic young man gets his girlfriend Zelda new virtual reality goggles that control one's senses and thoughts. The complete immersion in the MMORPG adventure cannot be distinguished from reality and raises the question will their love survive virtual realities with dream lovers and none of the inhibitions of actual reality. An exploration of ideas on love, sexuality, reality and the impact of future mind-altering technologies. Hopefully thought provoking and entertaining.Complete
Dreaming Alone
"Why'd you even come back? The last time I checked, your mom didn't want you anywhere near this particular place in this planet where we live in." I looked straight at his eyes as his seems to study every inch of my face, probably looking for any sign of weakness that screams his name. He won't find one though. I've moved on and the only effect he has on me is only a fragment of what I felt for him before. He continued to study my face and it made me uncomfortable. Why won't he answer my question? With a sigh, I turned around to return to the safety of my house-where I know I'll be safe from those eyes that looks like it doesn't want to let mine go. "I wanted to see you" he answered. "I want to see you again." If you've already closed a chapter in your life and you're already about to open a new one, what would you do if the past chapter comes opening itself up? Will you flip through the pages once more or would you turn your back on it knowing that that certain chapter will always be the best one? Or would you choose to start on a new promising one?Complete

A new start, with new friends And a new home. Start again. A second chance" I wondered what he meant by a second chance. But I did not think on it long I went home, unpacked and did what I was told.
