Death Accompanying Life

Ever since that night of my big brothers death, my world as I knew it had changed forever. He had just turned 18 before the incident and I was 14. Tom was discovered at our local park. Lying in his own cold blood. They say it was a homicide case, but I know deep down that he wasn't murdered. Tom was my best friend and my big brother. He was the most friendly guy around. He was always there for me and for his mates. He was captain of the baseball team and even won a scholarship to college. Tom had a bright future ahead of him, why would he just throw it all away like that?! Why would he leave me like this!? Two years has passed since that incident. I'm now just an only child of a torn up family. A messed up puzzle with missing pieces. Inhaling life's pain each day. My name is Skylah, and this is my story of my life within death.
