Being friends with Dazai Osamu is no easy task for an ordinary person. Meeting at the age of 10 in Port Mafia, Dazai and Kirino have vowed to never leave each other behind and to stay by each other's side forever. 

Fast forward a couple years, they are both members at the Armed Detective Agency with new adventures awaiting them. But, can a suicidal idiot and a woman who seems to invite danger keep their vows to one another? Will something other than friendship blossom? Only time will tell.
