"You assumed escape was an option?" The deep voice echoed throughout the room. The Wolf struggled, panicked, as rails on the ceiling allowed the mechanical arm to drag him around the room in between mechanical appliances, and straight down toward the back where the empty cryotank and dark figure near resided, and stopped a couple yards in front of them as it forced him down into a kneel.

The figure tending to the wall panel was basically a bunch of mechanical pieces holding up the remains of an organic old body, which consisted of a partial head, chest and right arm which stopped at the elbow. The machine limbs and torso were all very functional replicating human movement, made up of basic metal frames and joints with wires running to and fro, his middle section covered by a dark rubbery mesh held up by a hip frame and a ribcage frame. The entity was almost entirely a machine.

"I see you're another who can access the minds of others." the Machine said, still tending to the wall panel, back facing the Wolf.

The Wolf went wide-eyed. ...had the Machine...entered his mind? ...There hadn't been single word of conversation or even general interaction. He never in his life had known anybody else with the ability.

---

Rhim, a young humanoid creature of an odd race nobody knows, must find his place along with his friends he gathers on the way in a universe of its own unique kind of fantasy as he tries to uncover the truth of his and his world's heavily mysterious past, and defend it against the menacing mechanical monsters that inhabit it throughout.

Now on the run, Odette encounters challenges that will test her wit and strength. Will she surrender to the relentless pursuit, or fight back? ~~~ I round the corner to see a group of freakishly-tall and handsome men. There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."

Ages ago a scientist by the name of Benjamin Wolves conducted an experiment and perchance made the Supernatural. By creating a world with no laws and no limits there had to be something wrong one day. In the year of 2004 the first ever Deadwolf was created, a wolf who could escape death and has a cancer-like poison in its veins. Benjamin didn't think much of it, but now here we are in the 31 first century and alternate dimensions exist, all kinds of Werewolves and the world is collapsing. What Benjamin could have never predicted was the birth of another mutation wolf: Rea Wolves. Daughter of the first ever Deadwolf and something far advanced than a Deadwolf. She has been set on Earth by her mother to defeat her old enemy Benjamin. .... "Did you free Falk from Hell", she immediately asked Benjamin when she stormed into his office. He looked confused at Rea but she didn't trust him. He was and still is a master manipulator. He could hide his real thoughts and emotions from a Deadwolf. "Rea Wolves", he said standing up from his chair making a little bow for her. "Answer my question", she said frustrated. "You differ a lot in the looks from your mother but you clearly have gotten her character", he said with a grin on his face. Rea was about to get violent but then thought to herself that I'd be smarter if she stayed calm and tried to read his emotions and search through his thoughts to a gateway to Benjamin's memories. "I'm technically your grandfather. Aren't you glad that you have some family left", he asked her and she looked with a raised eyebrow at him which made him chuckle. It reminded him of her real mother Deadlive. "What a nice grandfather I have! You've been killing the family Wolves for centuries now, should I be grateful for that", she said. "Now answer my question: Have you freed Falk from Hell?!" ... What if the villain was actually the hero? * Can contain curse words, suicide thoughts * This book is entirely made up by me

Warning: Mature language and themes. This story is mostly slice of life day to day stuff. So if that's not your thing don't worry about it. This is the first in the timeline, but it can be read later after the second. _ Anna splashed the warm water on her face, running her hands over her wet skin in attempts to set herself straight. "It was just a thought" she told herself, just an odd thought. Why get do rattled? It was exactly like Dr Jefferson had said: it was late, she had a hard day, that kind of situation coupled with a horror movie.. It was just a thought. Wiping her face with the towel on the counter she let out a sight. Feeling a bit more refreshed now. However, as soon as she removed the towel and saw her reflection.. "Did you brush your teeth?" An older woman came up to the doorway of the small bathroom where she felt like she were standing on something besides the tile floor. She had short hair and a white coat. "Yes momma." A younger voice smiled, causing the mother to cross her arms, "Let me see." not convinced and going to check the toothbrush of the girl. "Ok fine! I'll brush my teeth.." Her response was quick and a little annoyed, probably to keep from getting caught in a lie. The woman stood in the doorway to watch. Short blonde hair just reaching her shoulders, and a pair of cyan eyes looked back in the mirror with a much younger face. Disappearing just as soon as it had happened. "Aahah!" With a yelp Anna stepped back dropping the towel in the process, as sheer terror made it's way through her. Light, dark, weavers, Outcasts. It's all new to Anna, if that even is her name. After waking up with a blank slate of a mind, she has to not only relearn the ways of the world but also her own powers and what exactly it means to be "souless". The Order of Kismet, the goddess of fate, where is her place here? And is what they're doing truly right? Remembering is risky but it's the only chance she sees.

My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.
