All Sam Hood ever wanted was to live in the comfort of her books. She always thought real life was too cliché. Too typical. It's always like a copy-pasted love story. The guy meets the girl, they fall in love, happy ever after. In the stories she reads and creates, she is in control of her own world. There were mosters, villains, and superpowers. In the Summer of 2013, Sam learns that in real life, you can't control everything; her parents go on a business trip elsewhere for half the summer, leaving her in the care of her cousin, Calum Hood, 1/4 of the rising band 5 Seconds of Summer. And Calum Hood is never present with the rest of the band. Maybe Sam will learn life isn't cliche after all? And that maybe, monsters, villains, and superpowers can be found in rea life too? Cover by Tiffany (_torch)!
