There is a misconception that everything is linear.

Time will move forward no matter what, and there is no going back. You go from point A to point B to point C, and so on. Once you pass point A, you can never go back, and when you are at point C, you can't skip ahead to point H. 


But, in fact, nothing is linear.

Time, as you know it, is a human construction- a man made device meant to measure the passage of existence.
