A Three Lives, Three Worlds: Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms Fanfiction.

Synopsis: 70,300 years after the Ghost War, across the unchanging 36 celestial skies, the gods carried on with their leisurely existence, penning lives and sewing fate.

On the banks of the Yangtze River, a mortal held onto the lifeless body of the woman he loved, cursing the gods.

And below the darkest depths of 18 layers of hell, an ancestor frozen in time began to stir.

Bai Qian of Qing Qiu thought that as a nine-tail fox, she had chosen her mate for life, and that he was Crown Prince Ye Hua of of the Nine Heavens. But her convictions were shaken when her teacher, Ye Hua's twin brother, the God of War Mo Yuan, finally returned 70,000 years after his soul sacrifice. His presence caused bridled feelings to come undone, and Bai Qian was forced to realize that when the heart wants what it can't have, guilt can contaminate desire.

As they navigate the murky waters between them, both parties deny their affections until they are pushed to acknowledge them through several lifetimes of heartache and the turmoil of a war that threatened to destroy the Four Seas and Six Realms.

The Librarian and the Fox Princess: a Donghua Dijun and Bai Fengjiu story, V.I by Small_T_Rex
172 parts Complete Mature
This story is about the birth and development of the best friendship between Donghua Dijun and his little fox. In my re-imagined story, I am attempting to give our beloved leads a genuine chance at love with their own thoughts, behaviors, and desires. Granted, life is full of misunderstandings, obstacles and karma. Donghua learns that being a heartless god has its consequences. Having been careless and inconsiderate with the hearts of those who had fawned over him, he'll find it difficult to fulfill his. At its very core, this is a character-driven story about healing from trauma and the growth of a deep and meaningful friendship. It also attempts to explore the coming of age of love and desire for each of them. Those who can't tolerate slow burns should avoid reading this story ;) They meet much later, (she never becomes his maid) and was not involved in the BQ/Su Su/YH situation. Xiao Bai is young and very innocent as this story unfolds. Donghua is arrogant and obtuse, though with more playfulness and tenderness in the style of The Pillow Book. His edges are much softer. There are quite a few characters from the original series. Zhe Yan, Mo Yuan, Bai Zhen, Bai Qian, Ye Hua, Lian Song, Si Ming and Zhong Lin will make appearances, plus others from Eternal Love and ELOD. Lust + desire will play a part of this story so mature themes/content in later chapters. Reader discretion advised. Story is also LGBTQ+ friendly, as am I. This story and the characters are based on Tangi Gongzi's Three Lives Three Worlds, the Pillow Book, and TMOPB. Eternal Love Once Upon a Time by sagie1021dreamer
11 parts Complete Mature
After having learned that Su Jin made a puppet that resembled Ye Hua's mortal wife, Bai Qian heads over to the Nine Heavens to complain to the Skylord just as Ye Hua returns to the Nine Heavens after ending his mortal trial earlier than planned. He uses the opportunity to bring justice against Su Jin's crimes and secretly takes back Bai Qian's eyes before the punishment was handed down for execution. While waiting for Mo Yuan to wake up from his seventy thousand year slumber, the bell of the East Emperor re-activates, signaling the release of Qing Cang, as well as the possibility of Mo Yuan waking up. Ye Hua and Bai Qian together fight to defeat Qing Cang once and for all, but Ye Hua casts a spell of immobility on Bai Qian before the Bell of the East Emperor explodes, and sacrifices himself to save the realms. Like Mo Yuan, Ye Hua's primordial spirit accorded by the Father of the Gods was enough to defeat the bell into eternal silence. Unlike Mo Yuan, there was no falling body to catch from the sky. Ye Hua had simply faded into nothingness. From the movie adaptation of Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Once Upon A Time, Ye Hua was part of the missing soul of Mo Yuan that was the golden lotus in the pond at Kunlun. Released into being after Consort Le Xu touched the golden lotus and became Crown Prince Ye Hua of the Nine Heavens. This fan fiction is dedicated to the story tellers of the Ten Miles of Peach Blossom across the web, especially @moosesforgooses whose stories I have become addicted to reading.
