(A/N: This is essentially going to be a process of fixing + improving Lean on Us, a pre-existing fic on my page, as I'm not too happy with how it came out as the years go by. NOTE: There WILL be more spice in this one and probably more violence than in the original, but all spice chapters will be written to be skipped in the case you'd like to skip them, and TW will be added as necessary.) After Luka's painful pining experience over Marinette Dupain-Chang, he pretty much gives up on romance and prioritizes being there for the ones he loves and putting their needs above his own. He begins to attract attention as the band Kitty Section picks up some major traction, leading him to feel the need to repress any hurt he's feeling himself. As this happens, (Y/N) transfers into Marinette's class upon being adopted by their uncle due to the sudden death of their parents. (Y/N) is still moving on and dealing with the repercussions of their mother and father's passing when Juleka introduces (Y/N) to Luka at their band rehearsal. They form a strong bond and become fast friends- and quickly become something more- but how much more can they be in the chaos of suddenly becoming a hero on top of that? Adrien was a good boyfriend. He listened to what Marinette said about Luka and tried his best to keep his distance, ignoring what was becoming a wonderful friendship. After a series of unfortunate events, he finds himself single and gets a second chance at a real friend from (Y/N), much to Luka's dismay. What happens when this certain blond is thrown into the mix? Due to having a terrible memory, Aiden decided to write in journals about his daily struggles, his longing for a better life, and breakthroughs that he accomplishes throughout the story. Aiden loves to sing and Write his own music. He is good at the piano but his love is the old guitar that his Gramps gave him years ago. Aiden has one younger brother named Caleb, which is the normal typical annoying brother. Aiden has a girlfriend named Tessa who lives about an hour away from him who he longs to marry. Throughout the story, Aiden struggles to move on through each day, as days turn into night and night into day, he finds himself growing colder towards his father. Who is the towns hero practically. everybody loves the star football coach, Josh Phillips. Things aren't what they seem behind doors though, their father tends to be abusive. Verbal and physical. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?Complete
