Their bodies now have sprouted a new beginning on Earth. Trees and beautiful flowers and plants have taken over everything and the world is starting to look beautiful again. The kind of beautiful that it was before the human race put up skyscrapers and concrete roads and before we polluted the Earth. The kind of beautiful we destroyed trying to develop a world where we had all things we never needed but we wanted. Where the rich could have everything they ever dreamed of and the poor were scraping scraps out of a dumpster outside of a restaurant only to have enough to feed their kids who were starving and the parents went without. A world where the poor had more of an intelligence of the way the world works than someone who had everything. A world I wanted to be a part of and I could help bring that back. We might be the last of the human race and after we die it could be the end of it but for now as we sit here staring at the sun setting on the beautiful ocean, that for once doesn't have garbage and oil running through it, we realize it wasn't the end of the world for us, it was the beginning of a new one and we were still here for a reason. We lived through the extinction of human kind so we could bring life back to oceans and forests and the desert plains and mountain ranges. We are alive for a reason and I'm going to make sure I help in every way possible before I go too.
