My story focuses on Henley and her older brother, Gabe. The two are close, but Gabe is torn between his real father and his new stepdad. He turns to the wrong crowd to cope. His younger sister, Henley, is the only one he listens to, but sometimes they don't always see eye to eye. Henley worries her brother won't graduate high school on his current path. Tensions and secrets between them threaten to tear them apart. Gabe makes a decision that will change everything for both of them. If that's not enough drama for Henley, she meets a boy. Their newfound friendship blossoms, but leads to trouble. Henley finds out something she was never supposed to know. Henley's new friend is her guardian angel, Brayden. The guardian angels travel between their dimension and earth to care for humans. They also collect energy from humans. The energy is the angel's means to survival. Their government is strict and requires the angels to bring back lots of energy to their dimension. There are two factions of angels, blue and red wings. They have been bitter enemies since the dawn of time. The government separated them with a large wall. Rumors in the city give rise to tensions. Soon Brayden and his friends find themselves on the verge of a war against the government. Brayden and Henley grow closer, but with disastrous consequences. However, this disaster just might be the chance Brayden needs to take on the government. The fate of the human race, and the angels depends on it.

Every year, wolves of age from around the country attend their Placing Tournament, the one thing that can single handedly make or break your future. In this tournament, you are either a decided, undecided, or intended. Decided is for those who know what they want, undecided is for those who don't, and intended is for those who have no choice. French-born Althea Lavois is ready. She's just turned 18 and ready to take the medical world by storm, leaving behind her parents with a dream of Sanitatem, Pack of Healing. Until she meets her mate, Orion Westbrooke, an intended and the next Alpha of Vindex, the pack of warriors. Accepting Orion means throwing away her dream, so what's a girl to do? Lie, of course. ------------------- I had no idea whether or not he had followed me, or seen which building I went into. I would need to be careful, I knew for a fact that he was just on the floor above me. No one could know, not even my parents. I was not giving up my dreams just because I had found my mate. Not a chance. I knew he would make me. I could tell. But either way, I didn't want to take the chance. Everything hit me at once. I had found my mate. He was the next Alpha of the Vindex Pack, And I had practically just rejected him. Shit. ------------
