Katherine Clarkson does not have an easy life.

She's an Italian sixteen year old dealing drugs in the crazy city of Rome. She didn't chose this life style as it was brought upon her to maintain herself and her sick grandmother. Her father had abandoned her when she was three and her mother died when she was eight. Everything changed when child-services caught up to her and forced her to move on the other side of the world; Los Angeles. There she will have to live with the one man she hated the most; her father, whom now was a famous millionaire.

On top of the new fame and wealth, she will have to deal with something she never had to deal with in Rome, a cliché American High-school. Seduced by the Bad-boy player, step-sister to the Jock, best friends with the loner and enemy of the queen bee. Her life had become a horrible teen movie. However, things will quickly change when she brings some Roman culture to the picture and does things her own way. But what happens when along with the culture, someone from her past that has been haunting her ever since an accident, visits her? Will she be able to live in the same house with the man that abandoned her? And will Katherine be able to survive High-school with it's traditions and rules?
