If you found a diary on a bench in a park with absolutely no one around, would you read it? Most people would, to try and find a name or something that they could use to return it to they owner. Other people might just be being nosy, but that's rude. When Niall found the tattered purple diary in the park, he was originally searching for an address. He was intrigued, however, by the girl's writing, and he kept reading until he finished it (not meaning to be nosy, of course, just curious, although that would be considered as nosy). He was determined to find the girl after he finished. Would she be the person he imagined?

On the outside, he made it seem like he didn't care about anyone and anything. He was cruel and offensive. Little did everyone know he was like that because of what had happened to him in his past.
