I looked at his perfect smile, his perfect checks, his crystal blue eyes and I knew I loved him. It felt right to be here laying on the sand soaking up the sun, with him.
“Jade, I…I don’t want to leave you. Can’t I see you again?” He pleaded looking upset.
“I know, I don’t wanna leave you either but I live here in Florida and you live somewhere in North Carolina. We would never get to see each other. Just promise me you’ll never forget me.” Tears began to slip from my eyes and I looked down to try and hide them.
He lifted my chin and wiped my tears and whispered, “Never.”
