{#520 in Poetry} The world has turned to ash. Hot winds and violent storms are in its place. Whatever remains of humanity has descended into chaos. The earth is taking back what is hers in a fit of catastrophic rage. This story follows a few people in their quest for survival and healing. This is my first attempt after years of not completing any writing. I really would like to finish my first book, so please join me on this journey! I will be uploading a new chapter every day until 1/18, then once a week until completion. I'm proud to be doing this, and I hope you enjoy! Please leave any and all feedback!

❝ - I can see you, imagine you in your red dress. I remember how you looked on the day of our wedding, with your hair pulled back and your eyes so sweet. Who would I have been if I didn't love you when I saw you then? Who could I have been to scream and curse until you ran off with that evil man?❞ The story of an exorcist seeking redemption in a nuclear apocalypse for being a bad wife. ・❥・ Adelaide was not a good wife. She was cold, vindictive, and distant. It was only after her wife was murdered that she had a wakeup call. A realization come far too late, as the world is brought to its knees in a series of nuclear blasts. What can she do to seek redemption in a world where nothing is left but memories she can't do anything about? Will killing a demon or two before she dies be good enough? Updates every Friday!
