I live in Ignia, where all the fire magic is held and used.But centuries ago, Quae was attacked and destroyed leaving everything and everyone lost and mixed up. No one even knew what other places were like. But no one can survive in the wrong place for too long.
I tried to find a way back, but in the process I met someone. He's brilliant, funny, handsome, and perfect for me. But he's also the enemy.

The light grew brilliant and bright for a brief moment, then disappeared. I pried the grate off the wall and poked my head down there but saw no light. I was alone in the house and far too scared to go back to sleep so I got up and wrote the first draft of this story. To this day I have no idea where the light came from.
