A titanic struggle for the human soul waged outside of sight and mind of the general population. Gavin has been a warrior for his entire existence, fighting to protect what he treasures most. He stood in the light, doing what he believed to be right, only to suffer a penalty he did not deserve. Eliza is on the run for the crime of simply existing. Her secrets separate her from the rest of humanity. She doesn't know how or why she has this curse, but she knows she has to keep running. What else is there in a world of monsters? These two are on a crash course that will force them to face their inner fears. Will they find salvation in one another? Or will they only find destruction? Only time will tell.

Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...

Now, we don't want your dear ones hurt, do we?" **** Where do you see yourself in three years? Two? One? What gives you the certainty that there will be one at all? In a world where most people dream and everything is normal, how would it feel to not know what normal is? Life is never easy, and it won't ever be. It's harder when you have demons of your past and devils in your present to fight against. No one wants to lose, but how long can you keep yourself stable? Only the strong and brave survives in the race. Is she strong and brave? Triggers are present.
