This is a story about Sun, a girl who likes books more than people. Her nickname is 'mad scientist' by her professors and colleges'. She has wacky ideas and loves to laugh. She cant socialize for the life of her and enjoys being kept in the shadows. Her dad is the Vice President of the U.S.A. and is always willing to help his daughter with experiments. 
    
    But when she  makes a breaking discovery she is sent to one of the most prestigious colleges that specializes in science at 16.
    
    Sadly she still has to go to public school when she is not at the lab. She keeps to herself and always has her nose in a book.  She makes friends and enemies along that way with a few love interests. 
    
    Sun learns how to love, cry, and live as she comes to love her temporary home. But when a drastic change happens in U.S. history she may have to give it all up.
    
    (Disclaimer: this is not historical fiction, her dad is a made up character and so is Sun. This is my first book and I welcome constructive criticism)
