Alley, can't hear and is a sophomore. She uses sign language to talk and less her voice. Her father and older brother is all who cares for her and helps her. She doesn't have any friends nor does she knows what the true meaning of friendship mean. Up until she's forced to have someone follow her in every class to sign in all classes.
Lucky is a jock who doesn't act like a jock. He knows sign language and so he has to help a girl who can't hear and is hard to talk to. the school has this under college credit. He's always had feelings for her even though he's a Junior. He's doubling everything just to help her out.
Can Alley learn friendship and finally have a heart for other people and let them in, or will she convert to herself to never talk to anyone. It's up to Lucky to help her and hopefully she can have a heart for him. Will Lucky be able to help her gain control of how she expresses her feelings?

Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either.
