The Bride of the Merciless

He was commonly known as Ivar... Ivar the powerful Viking... the King of all Norway. But most of all, he was infamous for his savage nature, his unforgiving eyes and character.

Ivar the Merciless was what most people called him.

Just a glare from him caused his enemies to tremble with fear. A reckless Viking and brutal warrior. A man who didn't shudder at the stench of death.

That was until the Gods chose to mess around with his mind and heart. Thanks to them, he was thrown off balance, overtaken by dreams featuring an achingly beautiful woman.

Whether she was a Goddess or a being of his imagination, he did not know.

But she certainly roused his senses in ways no other female ever had; with her pretty features, her slender body and that heavenly voice that reached somewhere deep inside him.

Yes... she was irresistibly seductive and unique.

The question was, could he find her?

And if he did, was there some small shred of mercy left in his Viking heart?
