Z's life consists of hunting for his family, killing the decaying creatures to protect the cabin they reside in, and making sure his little sister Shyla doesn't grow too concerned about their depressed mother. After their father left, Z has grown a routine and made sure that his family is safe no matter the cost. Although, this routine is quickly demolished as Z meets a man by the name of Franco. They grow a sparkling connection and Franco becomes someone that Z grows a rooting interest in.
