Newt wasn't immune to the flare like the others. He had to struggle with the thought of going crazy and becoming a crank mostly all by himself.

But what if he had someone else with him who wasn't immune either. And what if that person was a girl that he had loved and cared for since the maze, since she arrived in the box. Someone who had always been his rock, keeping him sane.

That is where Abby comes in.

This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...)
