"Please.. Oh please don't be dead." I mumbled under my breath. 

I unfolded her arm delicately and laid it down gently across her abdomen. Sliding one arm carefully behind her head and the other behind her knees, I pulled her to my chest. I carefully stood up to walk around the bluff, silently praying that she would wake. I found a small path on the opposite side of the bluff from us and carefully scaled it, my bare feet somehow finding traction on the mossy rocks beneath me. For some reason I was was hell bent on knowing what color her eyes were. I felt like I needed her to look at me. Then the world stopped spinning for just a moment and a miracle happened right there in my hands. This beautiful girl I held in my arms, silently took in a deep, shaky breath. And so, I ran.
