After they meet she has a strange connection with him. Soon her (to her was ordinary) life is turned upside down. She discovers that there are things walking the face of earth, not just vampires but things like werewolves, witches, fay, demons, and half Angels. They all walk in the darkness.
And Chase gives her the opportunity to become one of them, to be like him. To take her away from her parents and the horrible little town she lives in. And a chance to bring back her dead brother. Will she choose to stay and live her life as a human or become like Chase and live her life and bring back her brother?
