Hi, my name is Phil Lester. I'm eight years old, and I have this friend. His name is Dan, Dan Howell. I really like him, but others don't. It doesn't seem fair. I love hanging out with Dan, who has pretty brown eyes and a great smile, but no one will appreciate it because of who they think Dan is. He's gay. And because of that, he's bullied on a constant basis.
I may be only eight, but I know that's not okay. I want to stand up for Dan, and show him that he's fine the way he is. I just don't know how...
