Netra Conison lead a simple life with her mother and sibling, Matt. Her dad had disappeared when she was five and she hadn't given him much thought until he suddenly appeared in a dream telling her to get ready for a trip. Suddenly Netra finds herself falling from magical giant birds, training to defend herself against griffins, talking to people through her mind, and gaining a handsome but irritating new fighting partner. She is just starting to get used to her new life when suddenly her father ships her off to his palace, where he turns out to be the lord of part of this new magical country. When Netra discovers that her father is scheming a evil plot, she, her fighting partner Zed, a friendly giant hawk, and her new best friend Ezzie decide that they will stop at nothing to keep Netra's evil father from power, even if it means the death.

While Cameron Wanatabe was trained under his father Sensei Wanatabe at the Wind Ninja Academy, his older sister Sierra was trained at the Thunder Ninja Academy, the other Ninja Academy. She had been trained as a child by her father, before being sent to finish her training at the Thunder Ninja Academy under Sensei Omino to finish her training. When the Ninja Academies are destroyed, Cameron is very much worried, about the state of his sister at the Thunder Ninja Academy but she's worse off then he had expected. Sierra has been captured by Lothor, and only the fact that she might be like family to someone quite important to Lothor's plans for world domination is the only thing keeping her from being destroyed. Also the fact, that she was lying about her identity might be a reason that she is still alive and kicking to help her family. Sierra Wanatabe is not a girl that you want to mess with on an ordinary day, but after the destruction of the place, that she had called home, for many years of her life was destroyed, she was not ready, to be a person to stay quiet without any resistance. She's a sharp tongued serious teenager of 17 years and she is not ever going to go down easy. Thanks to some quick smooth talking from her friends, she's freed from Lothor's ship, but she was thrown into a fight against the Power Rangers, they who are working with the rest of her family, who she hasn't seen since she was 11. She's torn between her blood family, and the family that was lying to keep her safe from Lothor who was allowing them to continue their plan, but just albeit reluctantly trusting them. Once upon a time, in a small Carolina border town, there lived a woman and her dead best friend's kids. Orphaned at fifteen, Mackenzie Temple can't exactly fly under the radar. People still whisper about those poor children that deceased, alcoholic mother left behind. To make sure her new surrogate parent doesn't regret her decision, Mackenzie sticks to two simple rules: Head down. Grades up. But when an evening of rule bending kicks off a chain of unfortunate events, Mackenzie's carefully constructed world begins to unravel. And that mysterious mountain boy isn't making things any easier. Meanwhile, her strange Art History class taught by even stranger teachers embarks on a field trip, taking the concept of strange to a whole new level. Was learning how to track evil creatures even on the course syllabus? With chunks of memories missing, Mackenzie's world falls deeper into chaos. For her little brother's sake, she can no longer hide behind her books. Facing enemies, old and new, she must act or lose the very thing she's tried so hard to protect. Secrets must be kept. Lies must be told. Monsters must be stopped.
