This is the story of Lemon Boy and bitter, compulsive Asher Daniels. The journey of two very misunderstood boys fighting for their own spot in this ever, humiliating world.

But the thing is, let's not forget Asher hates lemons with a passion - an utter, cringe-worthy, bitter passion. So, the fact he holds a vast hatred towards Lemon Boy too is a given. Right?

Maybe not so much when Asher finds an unconscious, beaten Lemon Boy in his back garden. Turning that first - oh-so blistering, summer morning of 08' into an - oh-so unforgettable one too.

Though, can Asher keep his hatred strong for the boy who somehow, continues to keep falling back into his life the whole summer? All while keeping up his own defence wall high. Or will he finally crack, finding a hidden sweet-spot for Lemon boy? The true Lemon Boy, with his bagage and all.

Thus, all while continuing to be the bitterest boys in town and the bitterest guys around.

And maybe - just maybe for Asher, all while gaining a new citrus friend?

Lenny Lemon.

Flowers for Football

47 parts Complete Mature

Asher King's life has revolved around putting up an involuntary mask to hide his true self. With successful parents boasting about his 'pretend' success, Asher feels as though the life he is living was never his to begin with, and a home of happiness is far out of reach. While the luxurious life is envied by most, Asher is only followed by social anxiety and suffocation in a life he doesn't want. The only place where he feels like he can genuinely escape is the little flower shop down the street, where he doesn't expect to find the school's star football player. Leo Gaines is Greenville's golden boy who is destined for success in the NFL. One would think that Leo would do anything to keep a squeaky clean reputation, but Leo would do anything to live a life for himself. Everyone seems to love the confidence he oozes but the subtle respect he always values. However, one thing doesn't fit the agenda: he is still coming to terms with his bisexuality. After multiple encounters with the mysterious boy from the flower shop he works at, Leo soon realizes that he can't help falling for the flower boy. Can Leo find the relationship of his dreams while trying to find a future in a world that exudes masculinity? Will Asher finally find authenticity that will break him free from the marionette puppet he is staged to play? Find out in "Flowers for Football."
