"What's worse?" he asked me. His blue eyes stared down to watch his bare feet as he wiggled his toes through the soft sand.
I couldn't help but to stare at him, baffled. Over and over again, I tell myself I need to push this guy away. Yet, here I was. Again. Glued to his side like some fan girl.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean," he says, taking in a breath before raising his eyes to meet mine. "What's worse? Losing her or losing yourself?"

Maisie Brookes was known for a lot of things. She was a writer for the Colby newspaper column, she was one of the only two vegetarians in the small beach town, and she had one of the most outspoken personalities in her class. But three months ago, all those little quirks shriveled up. Now she is only famous for one thing: being the twin of the dead girl.
All Maisie wants to do now is keep intact what little she has left in her life, even if that means sacrificing herself to mend everyone else. But when a new guy with a love of big words and a curious need to get to know the Maisie Brookes everyone says she used to be, being invisible can be a little difficult.
Filled with secrets, food fights, and a story needing to be uncovered, everyone will find the truth of what happens behind closed doors and sealed hearts.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
