Natasha and Sebastian Cielion were somewhat normal teens. Teens who were outcasts at their school because of their unusual ways, like how they seem to be able to talk to each other without actually talking, and their weird eyes, each with one green and one blue. Home isn’t any better, with their mother dead and their father always gone or drunk, they know that no matter what they have to stick together. They’re not alone in it either; they have Delilah Wright, who is Sebastian’s best friend, who also has a big secret that she can’t keep for long.

Their lives begin to change dramatically when a new family moves to their small town of Darkwood, Oregon. It all started with Natasha’s first encounter with the new boy, Oleander Visha, who’s charming, cute in that bad boy way, and unbelievably dangerous. He does the impossible and gains the trust of Natasha and her brother, as well as Delilah, but what happens when he realizes that Natasha may be more to him than just a friend.

They are dragged into Venabelle, a land of magic and beauty, split into four kingdoms each with their own people who live in harmony, but something is stirring up in the Kingdom of Fitheal, Kingdom of the Shadows.
