"Annie- dont do that you'll end up hurting yourself." My mother told me, though she was worried apart of her couldn't help but smile up at me. I had once again started to climb the large tree in the middle of our small farm, though by then i had finally made it half way up. 

"But mommy I'm fine!" I whined back with a smile, even as a 7 year old I had proven I could climb very well. 

"Oh Annie." She laughed and held her arms out to me, for me to fall into. I was just about to as well- until a gun shot rang out through the air. "Ann stay there!" My mother suddenly snapped at me with fear in her voice. She ran of a second later- towards the small barn where the gunshot came from. 

I didn't understand what was going on- not at the time anyway- I wouldn't know for years what really happened that day.

You see- This world that we escape to- its ruled by vampires. We- or at least I didn't know this until that day- when they finally found our safe haven- killed my parents- and took me away.All Rights Reserved

The trees seemed to bend towards me. The farther I went, the darker the world seemed to get. The color also seemed to dim as I ran. But I didn't pay much attention to that. I finally came to a large clearing, near the center was an hourglass, it was made out of diamond. I walked up to it. It was so thick I could barley see inside, although I did see something inside. I reached out and touched the diamond, it seemed to melt away leaving glass. I then spotted a man about my age throwing fire at the walls. I screamed. Then I woke up. It was just a dream, right?

Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)
