Hermione sat alone in the room. Gone, she thought. Everything was calm for the first two years after the war, but sitting here five years later, they were gone. First they were gone and now he is gone. Hermione sat alone planning her next course of action. This is a Dramione story with twists and turns. This story takes place two years and five years after the war, and will jump back and forth between the past and present. The second book, Conquer the Night will be written here as well. I am editing the book slowly (2015).

After the war, Hermione Granger was excited to go back to Hogwarts for her final year. Voldemort was gone, Harry, Ron and her had somehow managed to survive, with a lot of help and even more luck. She was ready to put it all behind her and move forward, starting the rest of forever. But it seems that fate is not quite finished with her yet and what was meant to be her most normal, quiet and least dramatic year of her life, has somehow became something else entirely. ...Cue Draco Malfoy...

The Battle of Hogwarts did not end how everyone wanted it to. Although it was hard, Hermione had to move on and continue to live her life. Twelve years later, on a very normal day, Hermione found out that she will be having a new colleague. He was no ordinary colleague though. Hermione Granger has gone back to Hogwarts after the Second Wizard War, but her friends have not. She fears she is all alone, until she meets a depressed Draco Malfoy on the train.
