Coming Back: A Mass Effect Fanfiction

I started playing the Mass Effect series just a few years ago, but immediately fell in love with the stories and characters. I am entirely inspired by the creative team, especially the writers and actors. After beating the series for the first time, I felt like I needed to write a resolution for myself after my ending. Unlike a lot of people, it wasn't that I was unhappy with the ending, it was just that I felt distraught with the open-endedness of it all. I just finished the third one once again, and I felt as though I had the info I needed to write this fanfic.

This obviously has spoilers, so if you haven't played through the game...then you should do that. My story follows my choices for the game. I played as Femshep, named Eloni - which means mountain in some translations. It can also be translated as someone who is more of a leader than a follower; someone who initiates events and can implement new and creative ideas; someone who can be stubborn and impatient and doesn't always like people of authority (sheknows.com). I thought this name would be perfect for my Shepard. I chose Shepard to be an Earthborn War Hero, and she is a soldier. I chose her to be a paragon, and she saved Ashley and romanced Liara (because femshep and liara are the only ones meant to be lol). In the end, I chose to destroy the Reapers, and Shepard lives and Liara doesn't put the plaque on the wall. My fanfic starts right in these moments!

I am working hard to stay true to the voices of the beloved characters and the world. I care so deeply for this series, and I wanted to write something that could display that and share it with others. I hope you enjoy!
