A collection of short stories centering around a kid named Sammy and a few of his friends, not so good friends, and straight up enemies. It's 50% simple vibes, and 50% teenage angst. The Daylight Room and other short stories
'You should write a story about that.' It's a line that writers hear a lot, a bit like comedians in a bar being told. 'Here's a joke for you.' Best to smile politely and change the subject or get a round in. There are occasions when I didn't do either, and there will be occasions I don't do that in the future. These stories are and will be the result. I also include the background to the story for the curious but I'll keep the identities secret. I don't want you chasing them down in search of ideas for your next novel. :) The Daylight Room: A very young boy understands that what he did was wrong. What he doesn't understand is that the punishment is much, much wronger.
The Stranger under the willow tree
On a frigid and blustery October evening, the radiant moon cast its glow upon a solitary willow tree, perched atop a hill. Beneath the tree sat a mysterious man, clutching a large, worn storybook. Suddenly, his gaze was drawn to a child, no more than 10 to 13 years old, wandering aimlessly nearby. With a welcoming gesture, the man motioned the child over to him. "Why are you out here all alone on such a freezing night?" he inquired with concern. The child merely shrugged in response. The man sighed and reached out his hand, offering it to the shivering youngster. Without hesitation, the little boy took hold of the man's hand and they made their way over to the willow tree where a cozy fire was already burning. "Here you are, little one," the man said gently. "Let's get you nice and warm." Seated by the fire, the child's eyes were drawn to the book resting against the tree. With a pointed finger, he indicated his desire for a story. The man smiled kindly. "Well then, let's dive into some tales, shall we?"Complete

Adelaide meets her mate on the day she turns eighteen. However, she has a secret that no one knows about, not even her best friend. How long will she be able to keep this secret from her mate? And what will happen when he finds out? *** I never heard him make a sound, so his voice makes me jump as I hear him say "I can smell him on you" from right behind me. I turn around and dread fills me as I look into his dark eyes. They're glowing from the light from the fridge. I stumble over my thoughts but manage to squeak out "I thought you were out on a mission for your Alpha?" "I finished, and now I'm back." His eyes boring a hole through my head. "And I can tell that you've been slutting it up" he says with a look that makes me tremble. I start to shake my head, to try and persuade him that I haven't been doing anything wrong, but he forcefully grabs my jaw and stops me from shaking it. "You really shouldn't lie to me Adelaide, now I'm just going to have to teach you a lesson" he spits out at me. *** This isn't you typical story about werewolves, but I love the idea of mates, so follow these young adults on their journey with a supernatural twist.Complete
The Alphas Girl
I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose. My wolf started to go crazy and I looked up to see a small pale girl with black hair in a bun and pale blue eyes. All my wolf kept saying was MATE over and over again. The room blurred until all I saw was her. She was cleaning up the table when her head snapped up to my direction. Her eyes widened and she instantly bowed her head down and stepped back from me. "I am sorry Alpha Colton I did not know you were coming back." She said shaking in fear. Just then Alpha Andrew walked in and slapped her. "DONT JUST STAND THERE CLEAN THIS SHIT UP!" My wolf sprang forward and I grabbed Alpha Andrews throwing him across the room. I Knew i was on the verge of shifting but it was pointless in trying to calm my wolf. "YOU DARE LAY YOUR HAND ON MY MATE!" I growled then grabbed his head smashing it into the wall knocking him out and turned to my mate. She looked at me with wide frightened eyes and backed away. I knew that my eyes were glowing red and my canines were out but I was pissed and didn't have a good temper. When she stepped away from me again I let out a growl and she instantly froze. "MINE." Charity Andrews is a werewolf who hasn't shifted yet. She is abused and mistreated by her pack for this reason because they don't think she is anything but a worthless human. That all changes when Alpha Colton comes for a meeting. Alpha Colton is the coldest meanest Alpha that many fear. When he goes to Alpha Andrews pack to settle a rivalry he didn't expect his mate to be the packs punching bag. He has been looking for his mate for a long time and now that she is right in front of him he is pissed at what she has gone through.Complete

"Goddess, you're so perfect." he breathed the words, staring up at her as she moved rhythmically up and down above him, her breasts bouncing as he gripped her hips, trying to hold back the wave that he felt building inside of him. She just looked and felt so fucking good. "Do female wolves mark their mates?" She leaned forward as she asked the question in a low voice, sliding her arms along his chest as she shifted her position, moving her legs close together so that he was even tighter inside of her as his hands came down to grip her ass, thrusting into her from below. "Yes." he was barely able to gasp out the word. "Not in my pack. But in many- most even- other packs." "Why not yours?" He felt her mouth slip forward, her tongue teasing the same place he had marked on her body half an hour earlier. "The men in our pack just haven't allowed it. It's a sign of claiming and-" her teeth grazed the spot lightly, not hard enough to break the skin, but he felt a mixture of pleasure and pain shoot through his body and he drew in a sharp breath, his head tilting back automatically as he offered her better access to the spot. "It shows that you belong to your mate. Doesn't it? Like I belong to you?" "Yes." He murmured, gripping her more tightly, so close to the edge he knew he'd lose control at any moment. He only hoped he could bring her to the peak of pleasure again first. He'd thought she was close. "Nova." He knew his voice sounded desperate. "Can I mark you, Alpha?" ---------------------------------- When Nova stumbles into pack lands and is captured by the Blazing Moon pack she knows that she has to escape. She makes a daring escape only to be tracked down by their Alpha. But their meeting isn't at all what either or them expected. Can he convince her to stay? It's beautiful, unlike the ones I have seen here, it's quite unique" "But surrounded by dark mists, you see if you ask me I think it's really dark inside and it's gradually dying" he replied still looking straight lost in his thoughts as the moon rays continued to embrace his face. For a moment they both said nothing. It looked late, everywhere was cloudy and a gigantic moon covered half of the sky. Everywhere looked empty, dry, imaginary. They were both seated on a bench, One was dashingly handsome with nice features but still looked ordinary. Humanly. But the other one was different, with gigantic white wings covering her back, Beautiful? yes, amazingly beautiful, with her long red hair and beautiful long red gown. But possessed a very powerful dark Aura. "Let me save you" She faced him this time, no longer in her thoughts holding his rough hands gently. "Running to a pretty demon for help.... ehhh I'm not sure about that" he replied jokingly as he couldn't help but caress her soft cheeks. "I don't know if you are here to save me or destroy me, but I will trust you" "I'm not sure about that too Alex, but let's give it a try" He nodded then disappeared into thin air. "Trust?" She couldn't help but mumble to herself, as tears could be seen slowly sliding down her cheeks, And her wings gradually changing to its original color, Black. Then he woke up.
